If this holds its water for another couple weeks the Spring Peepers will be singing their love songs.

Stumping also invites imagination. Across that pond there is a nice Bull Elk bedded down. His vitals are between the saplings, with the leaf being his heart. It is a shot and a half for this guy,but he has no clue I am here.

This would have been a treasure find had it been complete, a very old Coca-Cola bottle with the town of Shamokin printed across the top. Very cool.

I do not know if you guys can make it out but 3/4 of the way up that Oak and between the tree to the left of it you can see the roof of a barn. That tractor earlier in the post is just below the barn.
We are almost to the top.

You know, I have come to conclude that my favorite stump shot is the hole shot. Your concentration just fills it right up. This one is exactly 15 yards,I stepped it off.

The funny thing is I missed a nice doe on this sidehill just to the left of this. The last week of the late season, sitting on my Waldrop at 18 yards.
Right over her back. She would have been in trouble this time.
