Limbskins

I used to have camo tape on my longbow's limbs because without something like that it gives of a lot of glare(from the fiberglass)but the ends of the tape started fraying so I just pulled it all off and and used goo-gone to get the sticky stuff of its limbs. And I was wondering if anybodys uses limbskins or bow socks as they're called in three rivers. If so do you like them and do they look good on your bow, I just thought about buying some because I don't want to use tape again.

Robert, I would use the limb skins. They look awsome. I think they are #1 in quality. I don't use them but they are used by alot of tradgangers.

They work great Robert.I use them as much to protect the finish on my bow as for reducing glare.Good product.

I just got some of the tiger stripe ones to reduce the glare. They are made of spandex, which itself is somewhat "shiney." So I plan on rubbing some dirt on it when I get to my hunting spot. The "longbow" version is slightly too big for my 3 piece pronghorn... it fits and works, but is a little baggy on the limbs.
That said, they are super simple to use, and I haven't noticed that they effect bow performance at all. And they are fairly cheap too. I'd recommend them.

OK, for those of you using limbskins... do you find they affect arrow speed or aim point compared to not having them on the bow...

Thanks a bunch guys for the suggestions I'll probably get some from three rivers in the pin-oak pattern for when deer season rolls around.
