Mudd, if you dont have a dog to retrieve, that set up might work on the birds as well.   :biglaugh:
Good luck, and looking forward to pics and stories!   :archer2:

You're in my neck of the woods. Looking forward to the updates. I've never heard of this place.

The hunt was great but meeting all of the people, and families members was tops, the best of the best.

I can't begin to tell anyone how much this hunt and these people mean to me.

I totally understand now the "why" of the folks coming back from hunts and begging off the telling of the tale... they were just exhausted... as I am now!

Tired but very happy!!

This is just the 1st of many pictures.

Thank you everyone!!

God bless,Mudd

PS:Even the dog was tired....lol

Now that is one of the coolest hunting pictures I've seen...laid out bird dog, loads of birds and Mudd with a huge contented smile!

The real bow shots were made by folks like Skyler Wilson, Terry Green, John Reichenbacker,Jason,Doug and Larry.

I was a novice by any comparison.

I think Skyler got at least 5.

There were several birds that got hit by more than one shooters arrow.

At least a couple of arrows were taken out by other arrows seeking out the same target...lol

Pheasants aren't easy to hit and even harder to kill.

God bless,Mudd

I made it back to Indiana...Booo!!!! I wanted to stay in Alabama. I'm not gonna type a whole lot right now, but I have to say a BIG thank you to our hosts Don, Tammy, Skyler, and of course Miss Chloe. I felt just like I was a part of their family and felt just as at home as if I was staying with my own family. So thank you for the hospitality.

I also have to give MUDD a hard time about being so modest about his shooting. I'll let him tell the story about one of the four quail that were shot. I'd say that they are STILL talking about the shot that was made on it down in Alabama.....

But like I said I'll let MUDD tell that story...

To Be Continued.....
