Introducing myself to the forum
« on: March 09, 2012, 10:28:00 AM »
Hello, my name is Craig. This is my first post to Trad Gang and i wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking in the shadows for awhile now trying to soak up as much information from the great pool of knowledge and experience youns have been sharing on this forum.  I have been bowhunting since I was a kid and started with shooting compounds. In the last 5 years or so I have made the switch to longbows and recurves, and dont even want to look back at the training wheels again. I take my bowhunting very sacred and have a passion for the outdoors as im sure that most of you have.  I have been building selfbows for the last 3yrs or so, but I never keep them, instead I prefer to give those away as gifts. Currently I shoot one of Hit Man Custom Longbows bows right now, and I plan on giving a reveiw on this forum in the near future.  As far as shooting, well...... Im always a student and that goes to say with my woodsmanship as well.  But I will say this, I am haunted by the outdoors  :campfire:  ....

Welcome my brother.

You will like this site. Everyone is very respectful of each other, unlike some other sites out there. There is also a lot of useful information too.

You should meet and make a lot of friends on this site.

Welcome Craig.  Happy to see you join & start posting.  There's tons of great knowledge here.  I'm blown away by how much information is available on this forum.  We are lucky in the fact that our mods do a great job policing the site and keeping the 'fluff' off it.

Thank you all for the kind welcome!  I never expected all the kind replies and in such a short period. Mabe someday we will cross trails in the woods, I will even help you drag the deer out that you killed and I missed earlier that morning......
