I got call last night from a California customer. They said someone broke into their barn where all their archery gear is stored and took it all.Bows, arrows ,packs, game cams, and you name it.
I know we all think our bows a special but one of the bows truly was to this family.Brenda had contacted me in 2009 and said she wanted me to make a very special bow for her husband Art for their anniversary .Art had lost his father who was his best friend and hunting partner that year.Brenda asked me to build a recurve in memory of Art senior. The family also has a family crest .The crest is a grizzly bear standing with broken chains around each leg.I had that crest put on the cup of a Thunderhorn bow quiver .The bow is a Safari Elite made of bubinga and yellow heart riser with bocote limbs.PLEASE !!!!! Keep your eyes open for this one of a kind recurve. The upper limb says "IN LOVING MEMORY OF ART SR.". Please help in the recovery of this families bow. This kind of thing just really upsets me as im sure it does most of you too.
