Limb color under copperhead skins

What color is best under copperhead skins?My limbs are clear glass over zebra wood so they are a medium shade.thanks

That would work, I have heard that they are so thin and translucent that you need a light color under the skin so the colors will look right.  One guy took primer and painted the limbs of a black glass bow so the black would not show through.

Here is a set over Bocote', which I think would be very much like Zebra wood.
