The Motor City might be taking a beating, BUT, the Motor City Machetes will not be defeated.

I just finished brewing up a couple arrows to take down to Hog Heaven for the St. Jude hunt next week, and I believe these will be great "Medicine" for them.  It's been fun learning and building these, and I've even done a few threads along the way, but here is the finished product.  A little hurried, but still an awesome shootable arrow.

Shafting is douglas fir, 4 point footed with bacote, tipped with an Ace Standard 125, and fletched with a quick membrane splice.  Not the best fletch job, but it steers a sledge hammer of an arrow right into the target.

I think I have a winner.  What say you?

Thank you everyone.  I do appreciate all the nice comments.  I will do my best to "Christen" this arrow, but honestly, as long as I see a wild hog, my hunt is complete.  If I end up killing one, I will be on cloud 9.  

Where I'm from, there are supposedly hogs in Michigan, but everybody knows someone who saw one.  Nobody can say they have seen one, or even produce a trail cam pic of one.  So until we are inundated with them, I will cherish my time in the South with some good guys sharing great times.
