Wow!  Send that pic to Mythbusters.  They concluded it could not be done with a wood arrow.  They never figured out the importance of straight grain!

Monterey said it, send that picture to Mythbusters. It made me so frustrated when they did it, they were using dowels from a hardware store. Not exactly straight grained. Was it POC? They always smell so nice when you break or spit one. Congratulations, that is a great shot!

I did in fact lose a good POC arrow. Shame to. It had one of my better cresting jobs.
