Ok fellas im packing up for my trip down to FL to chase bacon with Mr. Tarponnut. Heres what ive got packed.

2 bows, Howwatt Hi-Speed, Omega Longbow.
Extra strings.
Plenty of Broadheads, feild tips
camo, plaid, drab clothes
Rubber Boots
thermacell
knives
coolers
Digital camera (to bring yall along   :campfire:  )
Video camera

What am i missing?

Im so excited this is my first hog adventure, ive studied the shot placement key, and shot till my flippin fingers are blue.

If you want to, post some hero pics of your hog success, just to make my wait that much longer.

What else do i need to know? What say ye?

Hogs have small vitals and that heart is behind that shoulder. I learned to only take quartering away or broadside shots. They are tough animals.
Good luck and be safe!

Broadhead file or stone to keep them sharp. Make sure you have a compass. A good canteen, or lots of bottled water will be a must.

And a little bit of good luck. We will all send the luck -- you do the rest, and take lots of photos.
