For a hunters bow I like the short hybrid longbow such as a Shrew , Kanati , or Big jims thunderchild . Works great from a stand or ground blind , for a recurve I really like the looks and reviews of the short Hoots recurve .

True longbow is more stable and accurate for me.  I need all the help I can get.

I've always liked long bows as long as it's a recurve. However, I'm thinking seriously about going to a shorter bow next time. Maybe a 62" long bow R/D.

Longbow for me,preferrably a Hill. They seem almost like an extension of me.

I have a definate romance with the sweeping lines of hybrids, but I shoot my curves more consistently.  So as I've said in several post on this subject.  I practice sequence, form and execution with my longbows then grab a recurve and perform surgery...  Longbows, which are awesome, are far more tempermental to flaws for me.  Or this could just be a way of saying that really I'm lazy and that I don't shoot enough to trust shooting an animal with longbow as I would with a recurve.  I don't know, you decide...
