Where can i buy a bush n a bag suit?
« on: March 20, 2012, 01:37:00 PM »
Decided to give it a try this turkey season.  Big Jim's website shows to be out of stock.  I called and left a message but haven't received a call back,  I'm sure he is busy building those beautiful bows.  Also, I've tried the bushnbag website but got an error.  Any suggestions? Thanks

# rivers carried them a while back also. They are really big, need to do a lot to keep your bow arm clear.

Thanks petea.  Your are right I will have to do some trimming . I looked at 3 rivers, all they have is the shaggie longcoat, $199,    :dunno:    Since I posted this question I've been shopping around.  I think I found a suit I like, called the all predator calls sapper suit.

check out allpredatorcalls.com they have a very large selection of Ghillie suits incuding a long coat without pants, which is the same as a bush in a bag.  RW

We now have the bush in a bag back in stock. They discontinued the original and now we have the new improved model.

The new B-N-A- bags are soft and quiet right out of the bag. Big improvement.

I'm not sure if Debbie has re-listed them as of yet, but we have several in stock and ready to ship.
thanks,bigjim

R. W. - which one are you looking at.  Let us know what you think when you get one.  I've heard nothing but good stuff about Big Jim's stuff, but wouldn't mind starting off with something a little less expensive.

The BNAB poncho is not ideal for spot and stock, but is extremely versatile for ground hunting where a suit is pretty specific.
On and off in seconds, It can be easily modified to stay out of the way when shooting a bow plus doubles as a screen when draped in front of shooter.
I noticed this past season, while hunting in the poncho, that it draped in front of my legs like a curtain and allowed me to move my feet and legs behind it without being detected. On top of that, it breaks the outline up better than a coat or suit.

Don't know if this is the same brand,  but Marc Anthony sells a Bushrag suit on his site. There was a post awhile back about it.

I haven't ordered any of their suits yet, like alot of you I had checked with Big Jim earlier about one of his suits, when he didn't have any I started looking around. Got a flyer from Cabellas about that time, they had some of their leafy camo on sale so I ordered that. One day after that I found out about the all predator calls site and found the Gillie's . So, even though the Cabellas camo isn't bad I may end up ordering one of the others.  Now since then I have found another source you might be interested in, not cheap, but very nice.  www.ghilliesuits.com  has a bowhuinting jacket that has the long material removed from your bow arm side and also the chest side of the jacket of the bow arm material is removed also.  So nothing inteferes with you shot.  Very nice, but a little more cost.  Now I hope your not
totally confused, just wanted to give you a few choices.  RW

I've had 2 of the B-N-B's from Big Jim and think they are the best thing I've ever used. Extremely versatile, light weight, can quickly change locations by just gathering it up, and easy to modify for shooting. Pretty much just wear an arm guard or maybe 2 and your set. Best thing I've tried for Turkey. And they are a lot more comfortable than a ghillie.
Just my 3.33 cents.
