Well, after all this research and all your great suggestions, I talked to my dad tonight and he's going to be mad if I buy one. He wants me to just get his bitzenburger and use it. He says he probably won't even need it this coming year. I hate borrowing stuff, but he's pretty adamant about it, so I probably will.

I have used the same Jo Jan multi for over 30 years-perfectly happy with it.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I have a BPE and a Bear Paw.  Hands down the Bear paw is better.  Easier adjustment for one thing.  You push a button and it goes from 3 to 4 fletch!

I made arrows commercially for 15 years  at an archery shop. We had a few Bitzs but rarely used them I had a set up of 9 Jo Jan multi-fletchers  and always got good consistant  arrows from them.   used  straight and helical clamps. When set up with the proper care they work great. I have both at home and use the Jo-Jan more than the Bitz .     BOTH will work great  but Id go with the JO Jan if I was buying new .

Jo Jan for me. Works great- I don't need to impress anyone with a cast metal fletching jig.

Jo-Jan RW Multi-fletcher for years now. One of my best investments.
