You guys hit the Nail on the head I imagine.
Background,
This bow was at an auction in WI in My old Hometown yesterday along with some bear recurves.
I asked my dad to send me pictures and tell me about it.
He told me it was a Black Ram and I asked him to look again and see if it didn't say Bruin since they are made about 20 minutes from there in WI.
He said, "yep definitely says Bruin, the writing was hard to read over the dark wood".
He gave me the back ground, said a guy had this bow built and then passed. The bow came with a case, stringer, new selway quiver and of course is beautiful as can be.
I told him how much I was willing to spend and he called me saying he got it for me, for less.
when he got home and looked closer, he told me it was a Black Ram and 43 lbs not the 50 lbs like he had thought. The lighting at the auction house was poor and there were a lot of people in there.
I am still excited about the bow. My father shot it tonight and thinks its pretty darn sweet. His groups were every consistent with the 4 autumn orange arrows that were with it.
Thanks for all the history on this bow. I think my Father will have to bribe this Bowyer with Packer season tickets to build him another
I am looking forward to shooting it, and you guys are right, it does look a lot like the wing slim line. I was stood up on one 2 weeks ago that cost almost as much as I paid for this bow.
