Knobby is right that is a Black Ram made by Paul Scwhartz of Wisconsin. I believe I have Paul's phone number if anyone would want to get in touch with him. Great shooting bows. Knobby nicknamed mine "The Buck Magnet", I guess because the bow was awfully good to me. Shot two P&Y bucks within five days with that bow, one in South Dakota and one in Wisconsin. Come to think of it, maybe it was a "Buck Magnet". One of the most beautiful bows I've ever owned.

An email was placed to the Bowyer but we have not had a response in 3 days.  I dont know the guy so he may be the type to not frequent computers, or he may be on vacation.  guess we will wait and see.

I will post more pictures of the strung profile after I get the bow. I am curious myself.

I will also post the pics my dad took after he brought it home.

I'm not positive but I may have even known the original owner of that bow, I shot with him about 10-12 years ago at Rib Mtn. Bowmen in Wausau. Unfortunately my alzheimers is kicking in and I can't come up with his name. He had to have been in his upper 60's or possibly 70 when I shot with him. But you saying the bow is 43lbs. would be spot on because that is what his bow was and the looks are identical.

Dale, it probably is the same guy. If you ever get more info, I would love to hear some history on it.

I am from Rib Mt, my father still lives there and the bow came from auction in Wittenburg.

I will be back in the area in the next few years and already have been looking for property to purchase.  Last night I saw 32 acres in Merril with a house and barn.

I try to get my father out to the local shoots with his Big River bow. he went to Rib Mt. Bowmen 2 years ago but didnt shoot due to a recent surgery.

It would be good to meet you when I move back.

Hi Charlie, Yes look me up. I can contact a few of the other members of Rib Mtn. Bowman and I'm sure I can come up with a name for you on that bow. Give me a couple of days. Dale

No Problem Dale,

My little brother just joined out there!

I am a little bummed, the package did not show up today.  It says on truck for delivery in their system, but has not made it.

Please come tomorrow, bad thoughts go away.
