My new Horne Brush Bow came in today *Pictures*
« on: July 27, 2007, 07:23:00 PM »
Hello All,

My new Horne Brush Bow came in today. I think it's a BEAUT!

The riser is Bacote with Macassar Ebony palm with ebony overlay.

The limbs are "DIRTY" bamboo with bacote caps on the tips. Love that dirty bamboo.

The specs. are 60" AMO, 55# @ 29".

I haven't shot it yet. I'm letting the string stretch a little. I just strung it up and toke some pictures of this beauty.

I don't think the pictures do it justice, but if gives one an idea. LOL!

I want to thank Mark and Sandy for answering every question I had and building such a great looking bow for me with a great turn around time.

I would recommend Mark's bows to anyone. He's great to talk to and love hearing his hunting stories. He speaks with passion for his bows and the great sport we all love.

Thanks, Mike

Congrats Mike! Man that is a looker. I have a 60" 50#@28" Brush Bow with Kingwood and osage Orange handle with bacote veneers. Those things shoot as sweet as any "short" longbow out there and if there is one that shoots better I haven't shot it yet.

Love that dirty bamboo! I have some really trashy bamboo that Mark put on my RidgRunner that I like more than most of my exotic limb veneered bows! Just really nice stuff.

Can't wait to see some arrow group pics! You gotta a sweetheart of a bow there bud!Take care!

Mark

Dadgum, that is a good looking bow. You are correct about Mark and Sandy being good folks. As far as Marks quality it ranks at the top. Now I am getting real anxious
