Going to be in the area a couple days wondering if anyone knows of any bowyers or good Trad. archery shops in the Mesa Arizona area. Thanks, Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

Check out Four Peaks Archery in Mesa. I would call first 480-834-0958. The owner is Steve Shook.

Thanks guys. Got Four Peaks from 2 Tradganges so will get by to see it.
I can not think of any nationally known bowyers located in  or near Mesa. Will check the phone book. Thanks, Roy

Went by 4 Peaks archery, it looked like a meuseum. Many old, old bows.
Owner asked me what I shot, told him Hummingbird 3 piece longbows, and Dye recurves.According to him there is no such thing as reflex deflex bows---and 3 piece longbows are not trustworthy as they split all the time.
Enjoyed looking at the way bows were developed-from self to the modern fiberglass bows.He has examples of all on his walls in the shop.
Nice history lesson. Thanks, Roy

Yep sounds like Steve!!
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight;nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety;is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
