I sat in a tree for a year and all I could smell was rubber from my boots,so I figured the deer smelled me a mile away,I shot 5 that year all under 15 yards.Dont think it matters.

Fellas let me say I'm knew to traditional but I was born with hunting in my blood... Learn the wind because you can't beat a white-tails nose
