My buddy Troy recently ordered a Static Stalker Recurve from South.  When it comes to building a custom bow, we're complete opposites.  Personally I could care less what it looks like, I just need it to "shoot".  On the other hand Troy wants his bow to be a "masterpiece".  When he first showed interest in a Stalker, he drilled me with questions about wood choices.  I was upfront with him from the start and told him, "buddy you're talking to the wrong guy, South is the guy you need to be talking to.  After an extensive phone call between the two,  the collaboration begun.

Here are a few pics that were emailed to Troy from South.

It would take me a year to make a decision with all those amazing choices!

Looking forward to this one...

Totally agree Jake,
South does all my decisions when it comes to wood choices.    :D

This is the combination that they finally decided upon.

Let us know how those static limbs feel. I'm curious if they feel smoother, faster, or quieter, in your opinions.

I was just testing you Charles...P.S.  you passed.    :p

That bow is going to be in the top 10 for best wood combos for me.

South sure is a bow artist!  And make one of the best grips out there!

How do the static tips shoot? AMAZING! My buddy KHALVERSON will tell you they shoot arrows like they are lazer guided. I'm extremely happy with mine!
