Good hog Pat.He may have been caught and cut years back. They will really get big like that.Makes better table fare like that as well.I`ll go ahead and tell ya...if you kill a pig like that down here don`t expect me to drag it..lol.Look forward to hunting with you.RC

Thanks everyone. RC, I think you are going to be right about the table fare. Not strong smell to the meat. I cut one shoulder off and have it cooking as we speak and no strong smell. I couldn't even fit the whole shoulder in my crockpot deboned, and it is a very large crockpot. Much larger loins than I have gotten in the past with wild hogs. I'll know better than to even try to drag something that size again. Even the ligaments and tendons were stout during butchering. It wasn't too bad hanging from a tractor. You got one of those staged in the swamps?
