Bowfishing West Michigan (new pics pg3)

My son and his buddy got out Friday night and bowfished. Our season opener changed to April 1st this year and included bullheads as an additional specie to shoot. This was their second time out. My son shoots an older Bear and his buddy shot my Zipper nicknamed Black Beauty. They had a blast in the rain and the dark(young guys forget to top off the generator sometimes    :D    )

The bullhead filets are in the freezer and the dogfish are in the ground. They missed a big carp and saw a large northern pike and walleye. Bowfishing is just way too much fun!

Charlie, that boy uses the gaff every trip! Either putting them in the boat, or taking them out. That is a tremendous tool on our bowfishing boat. I'd like to hear about dogfish recipes. We shoot a bunch of those. Only ate them once!!!  "[dntthnk]"

Those Bullheads are great eaters!!!!  just about as good as Bluegill and Crappie fillets.Great pics and a great hunt. Congrats!!!
