Barge cement probably wont work, CYA(crazy glue) may be better. In the How To section is a tie along about it.

Tim, I put a dab of superglue on the knot. seems to be enough.

I have some very runny superglue, I dont use because I am afraid it will get down to the string.

I use an old bowstring piece to tie the knot.  Then I burn the ends and don't do anything about glue.  They seem to hold fine.

Trouble I'm having is getting strings w/mono serving which allows the nock to be screwed up and down.

Love two nocks with dental floss and super glue.  My super glue has a brush applicator (like nail polish) and you only need a light brush stroke.  Also, the floss I use is bright green and really easy to see...I like that.

been using floss since the 60's. I cover with bow wax and very carefully put a match under it to melt the wax into the floss.  Just have to redo this once in awhile.

Also, if my string serving is a little skinny, I just use some of the flat dental floss to beef up the serving.

Arrow nocks just get a nice snugged fit and the floss is slippery, letting the arrow fly smoothly upon release.

Gotta love the floss!

I don't care for floss as a nock set. I do use it quite regularly however if I need to build up the string slightly in order to make a nock fit correctly.

Dental floss, my Dad started using that in the early 70's with Fletch-Tite added as you wrap the nock on...Holds extremely well...never had one unravel yet!

Lots of materials work for nock points...bowstring, thread, butcher's string, floss, tape, even electrician's shrinkwrap so I've heard.  One of the most convenient and surprisingly effective materials is regular masking tape.  It's cheap, can be cut to any width/length, wraps on securely and quickly, has 'soft' edges to hold but not crimp the arrow nock, lasts quite well, can be removed quickly  and can even be 'custom-colored' if so desired(Magic Marker).  Very handy for tuning arrows to bows.
