I recently used dental floss as the nock point and I can honestly say that I like using B50 way better. The floss seemed far less secure. As far as glue, I never use it and I've never had a problem just burning the knot ends.

I use Johnson & Johnson waxed Dentotape. Didn't watch the video, but I tie a 1/2 knot top and bottom about a 1/8" wide and them reverse back to the top. Tie a square knot and clip the tag ends 1/4" long. Melt them with a match and I'm good to go. Much better than the brass nock sets that will tear up a good leather glove in no time.

I use J&J Total Care. It is stretchy and tightens up on the string better than ordinary floss and I don't even have to melt the end. I choose not to add anything to it. Someone out there is going to agree with me on how much better this is than standard floss.
