More notes from a noob. PIcs of pass thru added
« on: April 12, 2012, 08:27:00 PM »
Things I learned today...

6 arrows may be enough to have around for a wheel bow, but it is just stupid to think you can learn much on a trad bow with just 6.

An arrow shot from a recurve at 30 yards will give you a complete passthru on the drop spreader positioned behind your target...if you hold your bow hand just a little out of position.

3 arrows in a 3 inch bull at 30 yards feel much more gooder than the same thing from a wheel bow.

I shoot one arrow at a time. You can learn a lot with a little patience

Wow, you ARE a noobie.
Someone with more experience would know that we want pictures of the drop spreader.

Yeah, you would think a fellow would post a picture of the first thing he bagged with his new bow.

Donno what I was thinking.

You're learning well Bullie. May your spreader rest in peace.

I killed an antique desk once. Didn't know til I went to retrieve my arrows, from the target, in front of the desk (antique). Then I knew.

Should have given this spreader a little more time.  Would have been a good one next year.  But, it is the first thing I bagged with the bow.

Now its an aeration seeder.

Good kill shot Brother, Next time though you may want to play the wind better and rethink stand location.

Then what do I know, I haven't been fortunate enough to kill one of those.

Rock walls and stone foundations however,

I have some expertise there.

Welcome aboard   :knothead:

Now you'll never get the yard fertilized, every time that you start to fertilize you'll start think about shooting your bow.

A couple weeks ago I was shooting with my 8 year old son. We decided to shoot the Rinehart ball rolling, nothing like a moving target. Well I thought that he was shooting it a little quick so ole dad had one of his moments. I started swing the ball and let it fly, a little too high. Yep, he was very focused and just missed the ball, the arrow ended up on our roof. I guess we all have our moments, LOL...

My first trad kill was a large Igloo cooler that was sitting just behind my target.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

I could tell your bow hand was out of position.  That would explain why you were not dead center on the Scott's logo!
