I wanted to share something that happened this weekend with all of you.

Back in June, just before Cloverdale, I met a guy on here for the first time, Leroy Carlson, who goes by Goldenhawk.  Leroy and I finally met at Cloverdale, and camped together for 3 or 4 days.  We both share a love for great looking bows, and in particulare, for RER bows.  So now I've known the guy and camped with him for 4 days.  We shoot a few emails back and forth and then he gets this beautiful RER Vortex, made of Osage, Ziricote and some highly figured limb verneers.  He posted pics of it here a few weeks ago.  A flat out gorgeous bow.  Leroy also knew I was on the verge of ordering a Vortex as well.  Point is, after getting this new bow and shooting it for about 10 days, Leroy sends me this bow for me to shoot and play with.  It that an awesome guy or what?  Where the heck else other than this place could that happen?  My wife won't trust me with the kids for more than an hour, but Leroy was crazy enough to send me a friggin $900 bow to play with after meeting me and knowing me for about 4 days.

Leroy...all I can say is thanks alot my friend.

PS.  If yer lucky, I'll actually send this bow back rather than keep it!!

Good people here Steve nd you're one of them. besides who wouldn't trust a guy who looks like you? (Unless he was a car salesman or something) LOL

Awe Shucks Guys!! You know when you spend some time with and talking to people you get a really good feel for them and Steve....you are one of the good ones. You and Ron are both top notch and I thank you both for welcoming me to Camp Ferret. I look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Mickey a great big thanks to you too my friend. Your right about Steve Bud. Who wouldn't trust a guy that looks like this?

LOL Steve some people just ain't real smart. Could be the fact that he will be at my place hunting in a couple months and figures he could pay ya a visit if it don't come back.     This site is an awesome place. Steve and LeRoy ain't bad guys either. Mickey is well...Mickey!LOL All of ya are welcome at my fire anytime!
