BHs for whitetails?

Was wondering what you are using on your wood arrows for whitetails?I,m thinking about either 2bld. eskimos or zwickey deltas,with a 600grn total arrow weight.

You can't go wrong with what you are planning. Both great heads, each with a long successful history.

Zwickeys have more dead critters under their belt than most heads today. they have been around this long for a reason. Good choice either way you go.

It is hard to go wrong with Zwickeys.  I have had very good success with Eclipse too, but last year I shot VPA Terminators with great success.

I do not think anyone makes a bad head anymore.  I have used Zwicky 4 blade on a 250 pound russian hog, it was devestating, blow through, dead hog real quick.  I ahve grown to love Ace standard heads as well.  I have killed with authority using these heads.  I ahve also had great success with Stos.  Shoot what you can sharpen the best and get the easiest.  They all fly well and are well made.  I ahve had NO problem with wood arrows and 125 grain heads, no crazy FOC or anything, just plain woodies and old fasion 2 blade heads.

Any good head will do, but I love the treesharks and tigersharks from Simmons.  Both come in glue on models and will really impress you.  If you like short blood trails they are hard to beat!

Old Fred Bear Razorheads work good on woodies and are easy to sharpen...but don't think they'll get you up to the overall weight that you are desiring.

LOL!  I need to echo this one.
Whitetails are not difficult to kill...just need to be a sharp shooter with sharp thingies up front....seriously!

I think any good broadhead made today will work effectively. I use both Zwickey 2 blade Eskimos and Deltas, 160 gr Snuffers, Schulz Hunter Heads and Pearson Deadheads.

Deltas have been on my favorites list for years and still are.  I like the width and they are a great head that you can have total confidence in.  I will probably be shooting 200 gr Grizzlys this fall.  I find I like heavy heads and the higher FOC.
