New Liberty String Follow Bow
« on: April 15, 2012, 05:18:00 PM »
Over the years I've often been asked if I have you ever considered building a string follow bow.  To which I have always said no, because I just didn't see what the advantage would be.  Well, I finally capitulated and have built a couple string follow Hill style bows Now I know why some many traditional bowhunters have been bugging me!  I guess I can sum it with in three simple words, stable, accurate and traditional.  What's really impressive is the fact that little is sacrificed in arrow speed.  I’ve moved the handle forward in the bow, similar to the old reverse handle bows to enhance the traditional lines. Recently I was talking to a good friend about how classic lines of this bow when strung and we both had the same thought as the same time.  In need of a new bow name for this model I’ve dubbed it the "Classic."  Here it is.

You must be teasing us with no pick.  I love my string follow and if I get another longbow it will also be string follow.  There is no precived speed loss but alot of stability added.

Sorry about the issues with sentence structure in my posting today! Guess I've been so excited about getting the new bow info out that I failed to thoroughly proof read my writing before hitting the send button! Think you get the gist though...
Thanks,
Allen
