Good shooting!  Great eating too!  Bone it out and throw in a crockpot or roast pan with some onions, potatoes, carrots, spices and a can or coke.  Delicious!

I was anxious to check on my hogs after work last evening. Temps in 40's and breezy is not the best for hunting sod poodles but I went anyway.

I caught a medium sized pig sitting on top of his den at 30yd. We had a stare down and I realized I wasn't getting any closer. I slowly raised my longbow................................slowly drew back to anchor.............................did my best olympic form, release between heartbeats, and smooth follow through.........................and promptly missed wide left! Arrrrrgh!

Man, I love G-hog hunting!

Nice job Kyle, I hunt them up here and know how challenging they are. I eat them too, parboill with 1/4 cup of vinegar if they are real gamey or late season and real fatty. Then grill with BBQ sauce.

More than one person has mentioned eating them.  I couldn't get over the smell and flies.
