looking to shoot recurve need input

ive always shot longbow, looking for recurve to shoot, thought about maddog, only want one piece, no metal     thanks all input would be helpful   stan

From what i understand maddog makes great bows inexpensively.

I think it will come down to how much you want to spend.A ton of good bowyers in the sponsor banner. Check the bow classifieds as well.

If you have always shot longbows with a more traditional longbow straight grip, then look to bow companies that offer them.  There are a lot of bowyers out there that offer recurves with more of a longbow grip, the Black Widow PSR for one.  Then as stated above, it will depend on what you want to spend, what you are looking for and how long you want to wait for it, if looking for a custom bow.
