The problem with a publisher giving advances is they are only interested in $$$$$$$$ and how many books will sell NOT a niche audience. That in no way means the stories need not be told or won't be appreciated but that the mass crowds whose lives are occupied with gadgets and fast entertainment won't see it's value and buy it so publishers won't touch it. Their loss, but the venture is our gain. This will not make Charlie rich
( I've had friends who have published this kind of venture) there is no money in it but we will be enriched.
