Sounds like a great idea 4dogs . To add an incentive for contributing have a drawing for book #2 anyone who contributes the $35 gets one chance at a drawing for it as well as a note from Charlie and the $100 folks get 3 chances in the draw for book 2.

I enjoy reading the stories and it makes me want to be there as well and experience them myself. What you are failing to understand is that Charlie is producing the book on his own and not being paid to write it like professional writers. So the money we are fronting for book sales will help pay to have the books published and bound.

I've been a member here on TG since the day Terry decided to put it together and Charlie has been here just as long. We trust each other and that's a good thing.

So we are not promoting a friends book as much as we are investing in preserving the great stories Charlie has to tell and has told before for the generations of TradGangers to come.
