Well I finally got the finish on a bow I had made this spring. It it a one piece hybrid longbow 58" and 50@28" Limbs are bamboo core with a vurly maple and cocobolo footed limb. The stripes in the splice and running through the riser are red/white/black phenolic. The riser is a lights out piece of cocobolo. The neat thing on the curly maple is, I found where someone dumped about 12-15 rough sawn 4x4 eight foot long . I was looking at the pile and noticed they were maple. After looking through them, I noticed where 2 of them had very nice curl in them. So I took them home and planed them down for this bow.

I shot it before the finish and it shot great. I built another one previous that I have been hunting with and it is the same specs. I love that bow, infact it is laying in the background of one of the pics i think. I resprayed it today as well. Bow is very dead in the hand
