First Trad Kill
« on: April 26, 2012, 12:22:00 AM »
Well, it's my first kill with traditional gear and it was a LOT of fun, but certainly not as good as most of you.  I've never been Carp fishing before tonight and boy was it fun  :) .  I plan on having a lot more fun this summer.

And here's a tough dock to get on to shoot from-note the sign...

Anyway, figured I'd share.  Thanks to a lot of you folks on here for getting me going in traditional archery.  If I'm REALLY lucky, maybe I'll have a furry critter on the end of an arrow this fall  :) .

Honestly, I don't know the model of the bow-it's a friend's recurve that he let me borrow.  The bow worked fairly well, but the operator had issues at times adjusting the aiming point for the water...

Thanks for sharing. Bowfishing is a lot of fun with more action than you can keep up with sometimes.  I love it best when you have to stalk the fish.

That bow fishing is just too much fun.........and I know what you mean about the aiming point...it seems like you'll no way ever hit that fish, then it hits......

When the action is fast and heavy you can't keep that bow loaded quickly enough......

good times
