WOW, I can only imagine! And all I want is a shot on an elk. That's not too much to ask is it???

And since I didn't get a ram last year and had 0 points I decided to try for a ewe tag and I drew it.  This is what I will be looking for this year.

Very cool!!! Good luck and make sure to take lots of pictures to share with us here!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Congrats Steve! It's been since 1984 since I hunted rams, in S-12! A great experience and some beautiful country, good luck!

Congrats, I am already looking forward to the stories.  Enjoy all the planning and dreaming until then!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thanks for all the good wishes.  I'll try to do justice to the adventure when I relay the stories.  Mark and I will not hunt at the same time, but will definitely be scouting together and sharing each others hunts as much as possible.
