Latest Edition from the Motor City
«

Being laid up right now has got my mind going with some good arrow builds in it, so here is what's been on my mind, fresh off the assembly line of the Motor City Machete shop.
I call these "Horizon". you get to choose if it's Sun Up, or Sun Down. I really love how the grain just "POPS" out on this douglas fir. I used a rattle can for the crown, but I would much rather use my yellow stain. I don't like covering up beautiful wood, but this paint was a perfect match for the feathers and nocks, so I had to give it a try.

60-65#. That's all I ever buy, and make. With a little tuning, this weight shoots great out of all my bows.

Beautiful! I love that look when the dip, fletch and nock match perfectly. Well done. The grain sure does "pop" on the Doug Fir.
