American Arrows

Anyone know anything about American Arrows? They're fibreglass and seemingly old. Someone gave me a dozen.
They are green and say American Arrow 40-50 on them. Wondering if they would still be safe to shoot and what modern inserts would fit in them?

Not sure of the company but with any arrow do a visual check for cracks and splintering, followed by a flex test(grab the point and the tip and give it a little bend in all directions) listen for cracking sounds.JMHO
