I'll be out trying to kill one Saturday morning for a couple hours, then I have to hit the trout river. Turkeys have such keen eyes it's unreal. Hopefully we can find another good setup and draw before it's in the open. Using my 58# 66" Northern Mist Classic this time. Thanks for the kinds comments on my vid.

Cool video!!!! Looks like I'll be going at it blindles also.  I just broke my double bull this morning and the warranty parts won't be here for two weeks. It figures opening day and I break the blind. Oh well it will force me to be creative with my set up.

I hunt turkeys in the woods and don't use blinds or decoys. If I hunted in open fields I would use both.

The turkeys I hunt are an hour away from my house....few and far between. Tough to find and tough to hunt.

Awesome video.  I like to open air hunt as well.  I find that enclosed ground blinds make me feel like I'm cheating!

Hey you guys are welcome! I really enjoy hunting and trying my best to film it. I have another spot lined up for Saturday morning...a few birds around. Hey Kenny, I live south of Marquette but hunt turkeys in Deerton and Rapid River. Cross yer fingers that a big ol tom...or jake shows up this weekend for me.
