Bow hunting Hall of Fame

I just took a stroll through the Bow Hunting Hall of Fame. I was amazed at the number of people from back in the day that had such an influence on what we love today.

  Many of the inductees to the Hall of Fame were the inventors of products that we use and probably have no idea when or how they came about(Fletch-tite invented in 1948).

  I found many of the short Bio's to be thrilling and uplifting and made me proud of the craft I love so much. And for some reason a bunch of them came from Michigan, whats that about...LOL

  If you get some time take the walk and learn a little more about the history that brought this sport to what it is today.Tim

Michigan is loaded with archery history.  We are blessed here in this state to have a long history, having Fred Bear helped out quite a bit too.

Along these same lines, the Archery Hall of Fame & Museum is another look at the past.  They put out a memorial calendar in 2011 in honor of Glenn St. Charles.  It is awesome.  Take a look at their site.

Yes, and The Bowhunters Hall of Fame has a lot more(Chief Compton,Rollin Bohning,Erle Stanley Gardner,Roy Case, ect.)Its worth checking out. Also the Archery Hall of Fame has some good stuff as well.

Tim since you seem to have time on your hands how about you write up the info on all the Hall of Fame people and interview living Hall of Famers and get them to join Trad Gang. Submit the articles and interviews to the Trad Gang moderators and maybe they will add them to the "Legends and Pioneers" and "Members Interviews" forums. I'm sure that there are some members who might be interested in reading all your submissions.

Larry, I wish I could do such a thing, but that isnt possible.

   To interview the living Hall of Famers would be an amazing opportunity. But till the day that that happens I guess we can read about what is already written. I thank you for that idea.
