String for Toelke Recurve?
« on: May 05, 2012, 01:18:00 PM »
I have a Toelke recurve that is 58" and is 54# @ 28". I'm shooting Gold Tip arrows. What type of string do I need? What about string length? I don't think the string that came with the bow is the correct one.

Thanks.

I would contact Dan and get one of his strings....after all, he did make the bow. His comes with silencers as well.

I agree with TxAg....Dan makes a very good endless loop string for his bows.  Give him a call, I guarantee you'll come away with far more than having just ordered a string....he's one of the great ones.

Are you asking length, material, or what?  Lynx, Chinook, or older recurve?

Delta, I think I have Toelke made strings for a 58" bow. What length string do you think you need?
