A South Cox Creation
« on: May 11, 2012, 11:39:00 PM »
A few months ago Ryan S contacted me about getting in touch with South Cox of Stalker Recurves. After a long talk with South I could tell he was as real as they come and I had a new bow on order. Wednesday this showed up at my house. I have shot and handled hundreds of bows from bowyers around the world, I have seen none that surpass the craftsmanship of the work from South.

great photos!  I wanna see that one in person, never seen one up close.

Is that a couple of herb's bows on the ground back there too?

Randy, the bow is beautiful and it must be a shooter to take your time out of your beloved Pronghorns.
I am eyeing South's work for a while.

I met South at the Kalamazoo, MI show a few years back.  Great guy, great bows!

SHHHHH...don't tell no one, but if someone  wants one of these without a wait you can bid on one (right handed Miss Hope or left handed Miss Faith) in the ST JUDES AUCTION!

Beautiful.  I have been eying up one of his recurves for awhile.  Just got his new catalog in the mail yesterday.  Also just picked up a Scout with 2 sets of limbs.  Cant wait to get it.

Fine workmanship, fine bow, even better bowyer and man. I appreciate how South conducts himself and his business. I really like his bows. That's a winner Randy, enjoy.

That's a beautiful bow Randy, but how is your Pronghorn going to act after being neglected? Don't blame you for purchasing the Stalker though, 'cause it sure is gorgeous. Have fun with it and shoot well!

Ahhh the classic ebony and cocobolo. Beautiful bow Brother. His grips look like they are molds of your hand. I'd love to give one a go someday.

P.S. Randy, isn't the backstop behind the Glendale a little harsh on field tips???

Pretty bow but it looks just like a Brack or a Wallace.
