What is the best glass color to put copperhead skins over. I would like to keep them as natural as possible.

I would go with light colored glass or wood. I put them over black glass and they turned out pretty gray

Stick with osage or yew and clear glass. You will not be dissapointed.
They look good over other woods also, but these two rule.

Wood color is not really that important on a copperhead you can paint the limb before applying to achieve the color you want in the end. Like a metalic copper or tan for a lighter skin apperance.
