Just received my Plenty Coups whip HS
…ordered it April 30….2 weeks custom bow in hand

!!!MY LORD!!!
!!!This bow is FANTASTIC!!!

Feels right, shooting perfect, quieter than a mouse, waaaay more than quick enough ( pretty darn fast ), no shock...
The quality of build is outstanding.
The grip is marvelous!

I've never seen a more non-glare finish…and the finish is smooth..somehow he does it without texture…? I mean the glass almost looks like a black chalkboard... Really cool!

One thing that really surprised me at first was how narrow the limbs are…really slim and sleek.
SWEET

Let my buddy shoot it..
Asked him " What do ya think?"
lol....He says.." I WANT ONE! Of all the bows we've HAVE or HAD between us, this is the nicest by far."  He HAD to give it back cause he just doesn't want to be tempted right now..lol

I couldn't agree more.

Only took me 5 shots to tell this is my GOTO bow.
...the rest just cemented the fact.

Thanks a heck of a lot to Dan, Jared, Kent, and everyone else involved with this bow.
Kent and Dan ( never had the honor of speaking with Jared) are absolutely helpful, friendly, and professional.

I am one HAPPY HUNTER!

John Kelley

and yeah…I'll get some pics up…lol

Can't wait to see it, like those smooth but flat finishes. Like I mentioned before, you'll find a bow that is it, and you did!!!

These also VERY happily surprised me....
Look how slender this bow is...

This bow at 62" 45#@29" makes my 62" 45#@28" Savannah look like a tank...lol

Can't go wrong with Toelke or Kent at Plenty Coups.  I've been wearing the heck out of my coups cap, need to order another!

I love the name.  The lines of this bow really strike me.  IT just seems like a natural bow, a work of art, what nature intended those pieces of wood to become!

Been playing around with stains tonight.
I'd dare say I've darn near figured out how to make a piece of spruce look like bocote.

What do ya think??

Course it won't look quite so grainy on a straight shaft that hasn't been sanded unevenly umpteen times trying to get the stain recipe right...lol
