That's a good looking set up, nice job.

My vote is for the name "Papoose" since it is small and could attach to the back of the bow similar to how squaws carried their young on their backs...

Good luck,

Brad

How about "OTAKTAY" - kills many (Sioux)
"MOTEGA" - new arrow.

"MAKYA" - eagle hunter( Hopi)  is still my favorite.

I have thought on this quite a bit but have not seen or come up with the right name. Some of the suggestions were good, but not just right. I'd like to throw some ideas out to anyone who wants another shot at it.

Some names that I considered are: Providence, Carolina Eagle, Eagle Summit, Eagle Abode, Eagle Mesa, etc. I'd like your opinion on these as well as others using the "Eagle" name. ("Screaming Eagle" is out since I was in the other airborne unit the 82nd Airborne.) You may use these as a springboard to come up with might be the name that is used.

Today was to be the day the name was decided but unless the moderators run out of patience I hope to go until next Sunday or until someone hits a ringer.   :deadhorse:

Rick, I like that name "Eagle Aerie", but when I looked it up found out on one site that it was a name that is very popular now for newborn baby girls.

The word "Mesa" means a flat top ridge which would be an appropriate term for the hood description. Now, what sounds good with "Mesa"?

Here's another version Don.

Noun 1. eyrie - the lofty nest of a bird of prey (such as a hawk or eagle)

We're repeating, here...

Don, even if the word is temporarily being used as a "fad" kid's name (this too shall pass), the images the historic use brings to mind are good ones to me.  Wild, Inaccessible, Free, Safe Haven, Majestic...

Guess I'll see what else may come to mind.

1. The nest of a bird, such as an eagle, built on a cliff or other high place.

It's a place that holds "stuff" related to eagles, and it sounds a bit like "aero"dynamic, which fits the look of your new design...

Looks like you have another winner, here, Don!

PS- This carries the same basic notion as "Eagle's Nest," but without the potential negative historical connotation.

The Eagle Blade (because it is thin).
The Raptor (because an eagle is a raptor).

No matter what name you choose, you have a good looking quiver there. It looks efficient and stealthy. And, of course, that is what everyone wants in a hunting situation. I like the design a lot.

OK, how about one "from out of the blue"? (Kinda like an eagle, right?)

The Eagle's Nest "Killie" quiver, in honor of our own inestimable Killdeer. Like her, the new quiver  is Svelte, Smart, Stealthy, Sage, and... Super-duper! (OK, I was tired of thinking of "S" words.)

I believe it is time for another cup of coffee.
