Stalking4elk, our next move will be to make a larger hood for the really long broadheads. I have already drawn it up. This current hood will fit up to about 2 7/8" X 1 7/8" comfortably.

There have been some great names suggested and I like many of them. That may be a problem...so many great names. I have gone from "Lone Star Mesa" to "Eagles Nest" and a lot of Native American names in between. Also, maybe "Micro Mesa" or "Sioux Mesa", or "Maya Mesa", or "Inca Mesa", or "Aztec Mesa" etc. See what I mean? Someone call 911.    :deadhorse:

"The Grand Mesa" would be good for that Larger one Don! I think there is a place called the Grand Mesa but not certain...Or "Mega Mesa" for the Bigger hood like the "Micro Mesa" for the smaller version...  :dunno:

It's a great quiver, it rides on the bow like a tick on a hound dog. Here's how it looks on the Shrew bows.

Question:  If ordered without the totem feature can a blunt tipped arrow still be carried, attached to the quiver?  I can't tell from the pictures.

Rick, without the totem you have a center pocket that you could use to put the nock end of a blunt. I may be able to come up with a photo tomorrow to show that.

Winged Eagle, Eagles Klaw, Eagle Eye, Moon Eagle, Eagle Feather, Night Eagle, Wind Eagle, Eagle Mesa   heck thats all I can think off, my brain is fried

Don,
How about this for the name; aeetus

Taken from The Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus Greek hali = salt, aeetus = eagle, leuco = white, cephalis = head)

Just a thought.  Mike

This is a view of the quiver without the "totem" feature. The center pocket is the same size as the other four pockets. However there is a locknut inside that occupies a small space. You can use it carefully for a broadhead as shown, or you can use a fifth arrow with the nock end inserted in the pocket.

Razorbak, it's been frying mine too.

I like that without the "totem".  I carry my blunt nock end inserted anyway.  Looks simpler & more compact.

The Eagle Flight name, along with the Totem, hmm...seems like I read something about an Eagle on a Totem pole is a for power and prestige and the Eagle connects to the Great Spirit and brings great wisdom.

Maybe the EFA Spirit. Maybe the EFA Wisdom.

It did take some wisdom, time spent with bad bow quivers to come up with something that works better.

found this...sounds like us bowhunters.

"People with eagle medicine need their alone time. This gives them the opportunity to confront their fears and be honest with themselves. Eagle may be showing himself to you to remind you of the necessary time you need in solitude before you are able to take flight."

Maybe it could be called Eagle Medicine.

We were late putting them on the St Jude Auction, but there's now one of these quivers on #4 and one on #5. They were entered in a hurry so a lot of info wasn't entered. Instead of the color shown you could get other colors. Remember, it's for the kids.

Jeff, where is Big Creek? I have lived in Ky so I'm curious.

Hawkeye

Great donation, Don!  Thanks for the "head's up."  I had not seen them as I went up and down the lists.  I hope your effort brings a great return for the Kids...
