I am so proud of him!
« on: May 22, 2012, 01:33:00 PM »
Kody my 15 year old grandson went on his first offical date yesterday, wow where does time go? So of all the things kids have to do and places they have to go where does Kody take his new girl friend?

Yepper you guessed it, he brings her out to grandma and grampa's house and teaches her how to shoot a recurve bow. It made gram & gramps smile from ear to ear as we listened to him tell Mikaylah step by step the same thing we taught him since he was 18 months about shooting the bow and arrow.

After an hour or so of targert practice he wanted to take her stump shooting. So he invited gram & gramps and the 4 of us strolled through the woods shooting stumps, sticks and clumps of grass. It was one of the best date we had been on in a long time. Man am I a proud grandpa

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.

Excellent!!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Now that is a reason to be proud, good on you Gramps. Have my first grandson due in August-can't wait.

That kind'a thing don't happen enough.....looks like you have good kid there, you and his parents should be proud!! Not many girls would go for that either....she might be a keeper....lol!

Hopefully she is worthy of your grandson!
