3 year old Son's first bow
« on: May 25, 2012, 07:14:00 PM »
Well my son is named "Bo Hunter Scheetz", yes his first name is Bo and middle name Hunter. HAHA  Anyhow he just turned 3 years old in February.  He loves watching me shoot my longbow and always asking if he can do it.  I ended up ordering him a bow from R & R traditions (Macbow) and received it today.  WOW is this thing really cool and top notch.  It is 9# @16 and 44" with wooden arrows.  I must say he is having a blast and this thing slings those arrows about 40-50 yards.  I think we have a new Trad member in the works.  I think we ended up shooting it 30 times before he took a break.

Incredibly good form!!

Escpecially like the way the arm comes back on release.

WRT the srm guard, I respectfully disagree.

He is shooting with his elbow joint vertcal(as he should).

No need for an arm guard..

He may be outshooting his dad by the time he is six!!  LOL

Congrats Larry.  I agree, great form - the smile at the end there is the best part!

Great to have met you yesterday.  He will be out shooting you in a blink of an eye.  Enjoy these moments!
