I just had to give Tom one last jab before I admit that he made a great choice. The black glass was a perfect match with all the character in this riser.
Great choice Tom!

I can't afford fancy lams. You would think as close as Fred and I are he would have offered a set of the 18 beautiful Myrtle lams he has to a Brother.

The only thing that bothers me about this beauty Tom is that I didn't slow down long enough to test drive it at Baltimore.   :banghead:    :banghead:

I'm sure it will be seeing some treestand time this fall!

Bill, You did a good job with that walnut.  There was alot to work with, and not much to work with at the same time.  Very impressed with your work.  Mike

What LeftyFred is talking about is this walnut had quiet a few cracks in it Bill had to painstakingly fill with CA glue. He was skeptical at first if it would even work and hold up to being strong enough. He pulled it off though much to my appreciation!

Beautiful bow Tom...Bill brought it all together nicely.

I can see that bow in a hero pic with you this fall behind yet another of those great bucks you seem to stumble onto each year    :knothead:

Jake, all jokes aside. I really like the black limbs with any wood combo. My Cheyenne has black glass on the limb bellies so I knew I would like it. Its funny but the limbs being plain really make the riser stand out more. These two woods in the riser had so much going on my thought was with even more going on in fancy limbs it would be too much and distracting!

As a website guy photos, graphics or whatever you want to be the subject really stands out (or "POPS" as an old boss used to say) when they are on a plain black background. Here is an example of what I am trying to say. Look at the difference in these picts.
