Thank you , John, I appreciate that - "keeps me in the search", so to speak. Though it will be a little while before I can pull a bow - due to this Long Range IV" in my arm - but maybe only a couple weeks, with luck.   :goldtooth:  

  Update  : Worst part of this "Home" deal now (it's a pretty damned neat program) is they actually come and spend about 3 hrs teaching "you" how to do it all (unless you are handicapped, or an idiot). So now I have to do it every day untill it's over, with them on call at the drop of a hat 24-7. They do send a home nurse to change the dressing about once a week (or any other time if needed) - sanitation is all importannt. Finally, in order to be eligible, I can't drive - so that's a inconvenience (I hate relying on other folks for every day stuff that we take care of so easily). That and paying for the meds. As they say though - beats the alternative - LOL.

(After another day and a half in the hospital):

Still at home this AM (for a change - LOL) and feeling pretty darned good (even look and sound better - and that's going some). I will start my own home applications of this Intravenous Antibiotic again today. We will get busy and kick this "Rascal" out of Dodge. They were concerned with swelling and water retention slowing my heart down. So the took 3 cardigrams and an ultrasound and declared my heart healthy (thank you, Lord). Sent me home for the rest of the treatment along with a daily diuretic to keep the "water flowing" - LOL (Uh- don't get between me and the bathroom ;^) ♥

Bacteria is only beaten back at a steady pace, so keep at it. It won't be long, and you'll be back on top again. Best wishes, and hang in there.

PS - The grandkids enjoy the little rain maker I bought from last years auction. The little ones are still trying to figure that thing out.   :)
