I'm heading to BQ 6, & I'm trying to decide if I should take a spare bow with me, or if i'd be a waste of space. what do you do?

On the trip? Yes

In the woods? No. Leave the spare in the truck.

I brought a takedown with extra limbs on my B.Q. trips all 3 of them and never needed.A few will have early kills so could probably borrow another bow if something happened to yours and Tom sometimes has one of the Hope and Faith or other bows there.Your call but probably not needed.Better to take a spare Thermocell.Have fun I know you will enjoy it.Kip

I bought an extra bow for my Colorado trip.  Ended up taking extra limbs just like Kip.  Didn't use them, but i wasn't going on hunt 24 hours away with just one bow.

I also do on a trip. I've not needed my back up yet but it just makes me feel better to have it and not need it than to need one and not have it.

I always carry a back up bow that stays in the vehicle but remember to allow for air circulation or the bow or limbs may delaminate from the heat.

ALWAYS!  My buddy had his bow delaminate at full draw last year on an antelope hunt in Wyoming. His back up was "back up" at the motel in town 30 miles away--mine was in the back of the truck, and since we both are lefties he could use it. The time I don't take a back up is going to be the time I need one! There were three of us and, yes, we all tagged out including Chief Broken Bow.

I had a bow come unglued on a hunting trip one time where I was about six hours from home.  I finished the trip hunting with a borrowed bow.  I have always taken a back up on any multiday trip since.  That is one of the many reasons why I am a fan of three piece take-downs.

I always carry a backup bow(T/D Recurves)or an extra set of limbs for the bow. Never leave home without a backup bow or extra set of limbs.

Absolutely take an extra. I'd always like to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
