The longer I hunt deer the bigger my broadheads get, they are not hard to penetrate if properly hit and my enthusiasm for pin drop blood trails has waned with time.
If you're right handed, mounting them at the 2 o'clock / 8 o'clock position will allow the bow and your hand to mostly block the head from view. If left handed you'd need the 10 o'clock / 4 o'clock position. Mounting this way has helped me with the large two blades.
With a large Snuffer you can accomplish much the same thing if you mount the top blade at about 1 o'clock.
