Saddness in Success....and Appreciation
« on: June 04, 2012, 08:30:00 AM »
Yep....funny....I always get sad the day after the auction is over.....because of the fact that is is over.  Its always a real fun couple of weeks watching you guys play. I'm gonna miss that yet again.....till next year.

Many threads take on a story, theme, life of their own, and its really a treat to follow them.  To see men doing things together for the sake of sick kids and having a blast doing is a true blessing.

I want to thank everyone who participated in ANY way...donation, bidder, winner, poster.....I don't care what you did to help....just thanks a bunch.  It means for than you will ever know.  Thank each and every one of you.

Humbling just to be a part of TG which does this tremendous thing for these great kids. Like Doc says, (paraphrased) "kids should never have to suffer". You & others driving this effort have good right to be proud! Well done!

First time ever I looked into the auction. I'll have an item up in the next one!

Terry, thanks for all you do. I have been to St Judes during my peds rotation. I got to spend a great month there. Those kids are as brave as you can ever imagine, and I know the families really appreciate any and all the help Tradgang gives them. Thanks to you for this great site and to all the folks that helped with the auction   :campfire:

i chose this name because i am a huddle leader for our local f.c.a. ( fellowsip of chritian athletes ) and i think the f.c.a. "competitors creed"sums the auction up nicely wether your a believer or not. here it is:

"i give my all- all of the time
i do not give up. i do not give in.
i do not give out. i am the Lord's warrior-
a competitor by conviction
and a disciple of determination.
i am confident beyond reason
because my confidence lies in Christ.
THE RESULTS OF MY EFFORTS
MUST RESULT IN HIS GLORY."

i think everyone will agree that this auction for these kids, and everyone's efforts were indeed glorious.
